Much of the work of SAFE has been funded by statutory sources. However due to the very innovative nature of the work, this has largely been through discretionary funds, not as a prime contractor of mainstream core programmes.

SAFE receives some grants from trusts, donors and companies, as much of the work does not fall within the remit of statutory funds. This enables SAFE to deliver crucial community level work, which has real impact on individuals and local communities.

SAFE work with delivery partners, which includes supporting local churches and community groups to deliver local courses, as well as sub-contracting.
