The Role 

We are a small team and looking for

  1. Someone to develop our network of partners and referral agencies for Safe New Futures (SNF)
  2. Someone to develop the B2B side of the business in our trading arm Choices Training and Development (CT&D)

It's an exciting time in our charity’s growth to work on an established programme that is scaling, but still put your mark on it.  Mental health issues, particularly in the wake of the pandemic means that our services are now needed more than ever.

We are looking for an organised, outgoing person to drive our B2B work across both our charity (SNF) and trading arm (CT&D) partnerships.

A unique opportunity and timing to join an established, but still growing Charity and to work alongside the CEO to optimise the B2B opportunities and drive growth.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, innovative and values driven head of partnership to join our team and help us to secure long-term growth and sustainability for the charity.

You will be required to work on your own initiative to develop creative and persuasive ways to liaise with outside agencies and nurture effective relationships within the team to ensure that office support enables us to run effective and life-changing training programmes.

Main Priorities

  1. Referrals: Work with the Training and Office Managers to develop the Marketing and effective recruitment of candidates for the Safe New Futures Training programmes.
  2. Business Development: Develop the Marketing, Research and Development of the Workplace Choices programmes (CT&D trading arm) with large corporates throughout the UK.
  3. Marketing: Work with the CEO to increase our national presence especially through political government channels and engaging in Mental Health campaigns.

 

Key responsibilities:

 

  1. Referrals:

Working with the office manager to ensure the smooth running of referrals and recruitment to courses and associated administration as well as managing both the production of data to enable effective reporting and the overseeing of systems within the charity.

  • To successfully manage and develop a portfolio of referrers (including thanking, reporting, and identifying opportunities) to ensure long lasting relationships and continuing referrals.
  • Manage the liaison with local agencies and the recruitment of candidates for training courses
  • To undertake prospect research, qualifying suitable new referrers for approach.
  • To ensure all data related to both candidates and referrers is kept up to date.
  • Ensure that case studies and candidate stories are captured and collated by the training teams to provide this and other necessary funding application and grants.
  • Keep the website updated, relevant and promoting the latest courses.

 

  1. Business Development:

Choices, Training and Development (CT&D) is the trading arm of Safe New Futures. Currently we are running corporate training with a large company in Southampton, but we are looking at ways to develop this business.

  • Defining and executing an overall B2B growth strategy in conjunction with the CEO.
  • Develop the CT&D website from design to writing content to using search engine optimisation through that content.
  • Work with the CEO to develop the subsidiary Choices Training & Development Ltd in order to generate income to support the charity.
  • Developing and managing a sales prospect to fulfilment CRM system so that we can easily track contacts, opportunities and key deals.
  • Develop and maintain a prospect data base of large corporates ensuring that all leads are followed up with the aim of securing a meeting for the CEO and ultimately that new contracts are obtained for the workplace training programmes. Building a pipeline of outbound enquiries from multiple verticals
  • Managing inbound CT&D enquiries and progressing leads through the sales funnel.
  • Develop promotional material of testimonies from previous courses, including attractive leaflets, Compelling Video Content and incorporating marketing collateral as appropriate on to the CT&D website.
  • Creating briefs for corporates, working with clients aims, production and logistics
  • Overseeing and growing B2B accounts across multiple verticals including corporate, SMEs and retail from the likes of Facebook, Accenture and Google, PwC and City Mapper.
  • Analysing data and sales funnel performance. Optimising and supporting B2B processes improvements digitally for scale
  • Supporting and monitoring performance of marketing activity, such as press, email campaigns, direct mail, social media, and case studies
  • Demonstrating a continuous improvement approach to the customer journey utilising creative execution, promotions and personalisation to drive improved experience and conversion
  • Build reports to analyse performance and financial progress

 

  1. Marketing:

Currently, SNF is growing. This is because we have not only taken courses online in the last year but because those courses have been developed specifically for online delivery. As such we are now able to accommodate more people to our courses meaning that we need to develop relationships with new and more widely spread referral agencies. 

 

To this end, you will need to:

  • Define and execute overall growth strategy in conjunction with CEO.
  • Devise and implement effective marketing initiatives.
  • Work closely with partner organisations and collaborations
  • Manage the website from design to writing content to using search engine optimisation through that content
  • Supervise the creation of engaging social media including taking and uploading photos of courses etc. to Instagram, Facebook and Twitter
  • Ensure consistency of brand.
  • Work with the office manager to create and submit compelling Quarterly newsletter to supporters and individual donors to be sent via MailChimp or other suitable medium.
  • Work with the CEO to produce regular possibly weekly videos for LinkedIn and other platforms to raise the profile of both the charity and the subsidiary to aid client recruitment and increase funding.
  • Develop compelling videos to demonstrate the life transforming power of our programmes (over 25s, 18-30s, 16-25s, and 13-16s) to National funders and course referrers.
  • Manage press releases to ensure media presence.

General:

  • To understand and adhere to all Safe New Futures Policies and Procedures.
  • Support the CEO and Trustee’s vision and process ideals, ensuring that all IPRS – are based around the charity goals, mission, and vision. attending regular meetings, conferences, and seminars.
  • Maintains understanding of new educational and training techniques and methods.
  • To undertake any other reasonable duties, as required by Safe New Futures management.

 

Key Performance Indicators

 

Work with and supporting the office manager and the training manager to achieve Mission Critical goals and KPIs as follows:

 

Office/Operations team KPIs

Robust and people friendly processes to ensure to ensure that funder requirements are being met.

  1. 15 Pre-Course Chats (quality and qualified referrals)
  1. 12 suitable participants starting to enable trainers to have 10 participants finishing each course.
  1. Psychological measures and course outcomes are accurately recorded within one week of course finishing.
  1. Case studies and other funder data requirements collected within 3 weeks of course finishing.

 

Facilitator/training team KPIs

  1. 10 candidates finishing per course

·       80% conversion from PCCs to coming on the course.

·       80%* participant course retention of candidates

  1. Adult Psychological improvements based on 1st and last day PSY measures:

·       83% of participants will be less depressed.

·       96% of participants will increase in confidence and self-esteem.

·       67% of participants will become less anxious.

  1. Vocational outcomes to 6 months post course

·       50% of participants involved with our programme of support will go on to employment.

·        A further 15% into education, training, voluntary work, or self-employment.

 

Reports to: Office Manager

Hours of Work:  5 days per week.
