Become a Trustee

This is your chance to become a charity trustee at SNF. Safe New Futures is a mental health and employment charity committed to transforming lives across our community. For over 25 years, we have provided mental health employment support to individuals facing poverty, mental health issues, and unemployment, and barriers to employment. Through our free mental health support programmes and mental health back-to-work services, we help people rebuild confidence and move into education, training, or work. Now, we are seeking passionate individuals to become charity trustees and support our mission. By strengthening our leadership team, you will help expand mental health programmes in the UK and create lasting change.

A trustee is a vital part of any charity’s leadership. Trustees play an essential role in overseeing the strategic direction and operations of the organisation. Becoming a charity trustee is a huge responsibility with an even bigger feeling of reward. They ensure that the charity stays true to its vision, mission, and values, maintaining legal and fiscal responsibility while supporting the management team as a ‘critical friend.’ Trustees are ambassadors for the charity, promoting its work and building a network of support within the community.

Becoming a charity trustee and joining the board of Safe New Futures, which means becoming part of a dedicated, grassroots organisation that actively changes lives for the better.
